NE Cat Care is a woman owned and staffed business. We know cats! And we know that each feline is their own unique being with their own specific needs. We love being able to give your beloveds exactly what will keep them calm and satisfied while you're away. In our hearts we want to be their new best friend....This is our ultimate goal. 

 

Being experienced in special diets, medicine administration and natural supplements, we are happy to consult if desired.

We especially love caring for our elderly feline friends. 

 

Servicing most NE Portland Neighborhoods and an occasional slight jaunt into SE Portland as well.

RATES

CARE IS AVAILABLE 7 DAYS A WEEK.

30 minutes  $28 per visit for up to 3 cats

45 minutes  $35 per visit for up to 3 cats.

$5 per additional cat per visit.

 Small pets and bird flocks (chickens\ducks) *$5 and up

*tbd on a case by case basis

 

Includes:

  • Feeding
  • Scooping Litter box
  • Play and/or cuddles
  • Bringing in mail/newspaper
  • Shades/curtains and lights adjusted
  • Trash/Recycle/Yard debris cans in/out

Additional per visit add on services:

  • Oral/Transdermal medications $5-$10
  • Insulin injection $10-$15
  • Subcutaneous Fluids administration considered on a case by case basis

Per service add ons:

  • Key pick-up/drop off $15 each way
  • Complete litter box change $10 minimum *tbd on a case by case basis
  • Houseplant care and garden watering *tbd on a case by case basis

Holidays:

$10 surcharge per visit:

Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

 

Payment:

Payment is due at time of service.

Cash is always appreciated and preferred.

Credit cards incur a 4% or minimum $3 processing fee.

Tips are appreciated, but not required.

 

Cancellation Policy:

If you have questions about this policy please reach out PRIOR to booking.

Once you’ve booked my time this policy will apply.

 

All cancellations incur a $50 minimum charge*

4-7 days before care begins 50% of total booking cost.

3 days or less before care begins 100% of total booking cost.

There is little to no chance that we can rebook your place on the calendar for someone else within this time range.

No refunds for early returns, late departures or unused visits.

*We realize that sometimes there are circumstances that warrant an exception to this policy. Please get in touch as soon as possible to discuss potential options.

I wanted to take a few minutes to tell everyone about Wendy Wolfe. She cares for our two cats and two dogs when we are away. Wendy is the most caring, dedicated pet sitter that we have had in our home. She is truly invested in her job. She loves our pets as if they were her own, but she also takes great care of our home while we are away. She opens and closes blinds, turns on and off lights and makes sure the house is secure. In addition to basic pet care, she gives our diabetic cat his insulin shots and has helped us trouble shoot our cats latest food strike.
